WHY I WENT

While not the sexiest reason to travel, I was there for a conference and jumped at the chance to explore this beautiful city.

HOW I DID Vancouver

Unfortunately, the convention center claimed a significant chunk of my time there but I made it a point to break free and enjoy the city as much as I possibly could.

Time Change

The 3-hour time difference was a reminder of just how big Canada is.

Transportation

I took a taxi to and from the airport and then used just my feet to walk, walk, walk!

Accommodations

Work put me up at a big chain hotel right by the convention center.

Our Days

Outside the confines of the conference, I strolled through different neighborhoods and and Stanley Park and really found my place at Granville Island.

Vancouver, though partially seen through the lens of business, left me with the desire to return for a deeper dive.
